Dear All,

What happened to the August News then? Did you think I’d given up on you all after that little attempt to subvert my new release? No Way! I’m made of much sterner stuff than that. I had a bit of a laugh over it and a few people called up to share their stories and then I got onto the next job: Updating the Beds, Rugs, Chaises, Dog Houses and making a few mods to the Poser too.  I was intending for the August newsletter to announce the upgrades, but I got a little carried away with a new idea. Yes, I allowed a little “Feature Creep” to get into the proceedings and yes, I should know better!   But, I think you’ll think it was worth it.

Have a look at the new features that are now in the *Magic* Beds, Chaises, Dog Houses, Cuddle Rugs and the Poser for Dogs.

* Dogs are now set to passive by default when they go to bed

* New Wake Up feature.
Touch the bed and choose Wake Up, the dog jumps up and comes to greet you

* The list of names now supports up to 16 Dogs in the Main Menu.
(The menus can actually support far more than that, but 16 is a limit imposed by the LSL language.)

The Multi-Dog Beds and Multi-Dog Houses get some fabulous extra features too.

* Save Bed
This is the part that took all the extra time, but it’s my favourite new feature for a long time.
When you have got all your dogs onto your  Multi-Dog Bed or into your Multi-Dog House, choose “Save Bed” from the Options Menu.
The bed/house records all the dogs’ sleeping positions!
When you next want to send them to bed, you can choose All Dogs from the menu and the bed/house will call each dog, one by one, to go to bed.

You can even take the bed/house back into Inventory, take it to another sim, rez it there and it will still work!

* Wake One or Wake All
If there is more than one dog on the bed or in the house when you choose the Wake Up option, the bed will offer you a list of dog names or Wake All so that you can get them all up at once if you wish.

How much does this cost?
If you already own one of the updated products, it doesn’t cost you a thing!  Just come on down to the Update Stations at my Main Store on Turing Isle and click the updaters for the products that you own.

COMING SOON
Toy Upgrades – Oh My!  I keep saying “Toy Upgrades” and don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten. Part of it is already done, but I need to talk to Enrico some more and we need to agree on a protocol before I can finish this job the way I want to. But let me assure you, when it is ready, you’ll be the first to know!

New Dog Houses, Bowls and Toys are also in the pipeline.

Lost Products
Don’t forget that anything you buy at the Vavoom! Store can be reclaimed for free if you lose it. If you need to reclaim something, you do it at the Update Stations:
