Teddy Toys Updated and Half-Price Offer.

I’ve just upgraded all the old Teddy Toys to Toy System 2. They’re now just one prim and work properly with all the newer VKC Dogs.

If you have one of my old Teddy Dog Toys, you can get it updated for free at the Update Stations at my Main Store.
If you already have the single-prim Teddy Dog Toy, it’s still worth stopping by. I updated the texture and I think it looks a lot better.

…and if you don’t?  What are you waiting for? They are HALF PRICE for the next week!  (Offer Closes Saturday 12 My 2012)

Introducing the Vavoom! Balloon Bursting Game

Colourful, noisy, addictive fun for all your VKC dogs! The game rezzes a small field of multi coloured balloons. Your dog rushes in and bursts them as fast as he can. Each time he bursts a balloon it is accompanied by a loud popping noise and a flurry of little coloured particles. When all the balloons are gone, your dog comes back to you and the game stores calls out how long he took to burst them all.

Project Fur News

In case I didn’t say this before, with your help Vavoom! donated L$28,000 to the  Project FUR Japan Fundraiser last month. Thank you all for your purchases and contributions.

Dear Everyone,

I have another very exciting toy to announce this month… did you know that your dog could play basketball? No? Well have a look at this…

Click on the basket or backboard, choose a dog’s name from the menu and watch him take the ball back to the net and take a shot. After he’s taken his shot, he comes back to you barking and wagging his tail, enthusiastic to do it all over again. All of your VKC Dogs can play with this from the Chihuahua right up to the Irish Wolfhound and if you have a Hyena, it will work with him too. Oh and you should see the Polar Bear shoot a basket!

You can try it out for yourself at my store and in some of the dog parks.

There are scripted controls for the owner to colour the hoop, the pole and the net and there is a built in rezzer (and de-rezzer) for the optional extra prim with the markings for the Baseline, Key and Three-Point Line. There is also a button to remove any stray basketballs that you may have rezzed when the game is over.

I am really excited about this month’s news! Please put your hands together and give a very warm welcome to the Vavoom! Fuzzbee Toy!

Yes, it’s a flying disc toy rather like an internationally famous real life toy that everyone will recognise. Once again I had the immense pleasure of working with Solcar Amat who makes the petting animations for the VKC ® Dogs. He has made a superb animation in which your avatar will bend down to pick up the Fuzzbee Toy, stand up and show it to the dog before finally throwing it for the dog to fetch. It is, of course, as simple as can be to use. All you have to do is attach the two Fuzzbee objects, one on your screen and one in your hand. You then touch the HUD that shows on your screen, choose a dog, and the script handles everything else.

You can also choose how far to throw the toy from the Options Menu in the HUD. The ranges vary from a very modest 6 metres for when you’re in your bedroom or skybox, to an ambitious 85 metres for which you’ll need a large and script-quiet space. If you find that you threw it too far for your dog to find, there is also a Clean Up option which will remove any lost Fuzzbee Toys in your region.
